NBA 2K27 GAMEPLAY UPDATES SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 The team at Visual Concepts hopes everyone has been enjoying their NBA 2K27 experience! We’ve been playing and watching, and have made select gameplay fixes to better deliver on our overall vision for NBA 2K27 . No download is required. Simply return to the Main Menu to make sure you have the latest version. SHOOTING Strengthened defensive contests. Well-contested and low-percentage attempts are now less effective, while wide-open looks received a slight boost to reward smart shots. DUNKING Standing dunks now succeed more often, most noticeably against average and below-average interior defenders. The Rise Up badge now provides a more meaningful benefit at Gold tier and above. STEALS AND BALL SECURITY Addressed an issue where lower-rated defenders (and players with depleted adrenaline) could get on-ball steals more consistently than elite defenders. Steal rating is now properly rewarded on contact with the ball. GAME SPEED Fixed an issue and overall game speed is now increased and/or standardized to be consistent across all modes of play. PREVIOUS PATCH UPDATES NBA 2K27 v1.5 SEPTEMBER 11, 2026 (PlayStation®5, XBOX Series X|S, PC) Developer Note : We are working quickly to resolve the most user-impacting issues being reported. Feedback from the community has been quick and clear; we thank you. The patch we will release prior to the launch of Season 2 will contain a much broader set of fixes and improvements spanning the entire game.No gameplay changes have been made in this update as we continue to monitor games across various modes by players of all skill levels. Crews no longer incorrectly receive a loss when an opponent quits during a Crew HQ Division match. Resolved an issue in MyCAREER that could prevent some Fire & Concr
