What officially changed
THE ROOTS UPDATEAT LONG LAST, our second Biome update has arrived! Full patch notes can be found at the end of this post. Delve into the ROOTS: a shrouded redwood forest infested by mushrooms and creepy-crawlies alike. Survive the harsh winds that threaten to knock you off the cliffside. Sample a new variety of mysterious edible mushrooms. Flee from spiders, giant beetles, and even... COOKING OVERHAUL Since the launch of PEAK, cooking has been a pretty weird mechanic. In our quest to make it so everything can be cooked, we didn't stop to think if everything should. So we've made the following
changes
A lot more non-food items will now Actually Do Something when cooked. If it seems like a good idea to set something on fire, give it a try! Cooked poisonous berries will now be safe to eat. NOTE: With any major update, players are bound to run into bugs. ALSO WE GOT NOMINATED FOR ANOTHER GOLDEN JOYSTICK AWARD - ULTIMA
